Welcome to the WCG Chat E-mail Discussion Group Home Page.  WCG Chat came into existence on September 10, 1997. The original membership consisted of folks who once frequented the old #WCG-Chat IRC channel on Superchat Network. Many close friendships developed on #WCG-Chat so with its demise, it was decided to try and get the original chat group back together in the form of an e-mail discussion group. As word has spread, several other people have decided to join our ranks. Membership changes from time to time, but nevertheless, the creation of special friendships seems to be the unique characteristic of WCG Chat.

WCG Chat is a friendly Christian fellowship discussion group open to all who enjoy chatting with other Christians from around the world. Our intent is to keep it simple and less controversial than many other lists. Though there is nothing wrong with constructive debate, that is not what WCG Chat is about. Subscribers are therefore expected to use WCG Chat to stay in touch, encourage, and support one another. So we ask that we all try to keep it positive, allow for occasional differences of opinion, and just be friends. You are welcome to join us and add your positive comments to our discussions.
