Greetings, Help Ministries was originally set up to assist Churches and Christians alike who are interested in learning to set up and maintain a web site between 1995-1996. We were always looking for qualified people who have an understanding of the internet and would like to use their talents on the internet to minister to others, either by building and maintaining websites or just going out and helping christian learn how to set up and use their new computer or webtv. Help Ministries has never charge for its service but does accept donations, as it does cost to maintain a computer system and drive to and from to help churches and christians alike.

Although this ministries was started to help churches and christians set up and maintain web site, it has changed its purpose over the years. As time goes on the internet and the computer has changed faster than the ministry can keep up with. My ministry has changed from working with individuals to build and maintain web sites to helping people find true help in a time of many trials and test. And there is only one place one can find true Help and that is in the WORD of God. I am now doing more of what I started helping others do, although I have always done this, my focus is turned around. So the web or internet ministry is no longer my primary ministry or focus. It is now just one of the many outreach tools.

Why an internet ministry? When the Radio was invented, people asked why preach over the radio or why have a radio ministry, but the radio enabled many that were not hearing the WORD to hear it. The same thing was asked about the TV as well. Now it is the Internet that is opening up a new window to the un-churched and non-christian as well as disabled christians. There are many disabled Christian's out there that are not able to get out and this has opened up a new world for them to be able to fellowship and take part in the Ministry of our Lord. Like everything there is the good and the bad, but if used properly it can be used for the Good!

Matthew end with this. Matthew 28:19-20 (The Good News Bible in Today's English Version)
19-Go, then, to all peoples everywhere and make them my disciples: baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, 20-and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. And I will be with you always, to the end of the age." The internet is just another way to take the WORD to the world. It is another way for local churches to spread the WORD around the world without leaving their community. People in Africa access a churches web site in California and print out a bible study or lisen to a message that was given the week before at services. The potenial is mind bogling, what can be done with so little amount of effort or cost! Well maybe more effort or cost depending on what you do.
